Adult Catholic Enrichment (A.C.E.)

Our A.C.E. program is designed for life-long learning and spiritual growth. It is an invitation to grow and change, to challenge adults who are capable of a full response to God’s word.  Topics include basic bible study, prayer, the Church in the modern world, parenting and personal growth and current issues.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)

The R.C.I.A. is a program for adults who are interested in becoming a Catholic. It provides a process of faith sharing, instruction and growth which includes clergy, lay ministers and members of the parish. The process begins in the fall and gradually progresses to initiation into the church at Easter Vigil Mass.  Interested adults are encouraged to attend our “no strings attached” inquiry class for the opportunity to ask questions, share faith and learn some basics of Catholic tradition.  For more information, please contact Meg Warner at mwarner@stjohnevangelist.net or Fr. Thomas Zahuta at tzahuta@archatl.com or by calling (404)768-5647 ext. 214.

Our classes will begin Aug. 6th  following the 10:00 a.m. Mass in the St. Peter Claver room (11:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
